Purana Ghrita is crafted from fresh Gir cow milk. The milk is first brought to a boil, then naturally cooled to room temperature, where it is inoculated with a natural starter culture and left overnight to form yogurt. The yogurt is then churned in the pre-dawn hours (between 4 am and 6 am) using the ancient “Bilona” method, a slow, clockwise-anticlockwise churning process, to separate the raw white butter.

Handmade in small batches, Purana Ghrita is cultured cow ghee, made from natural yogurt—not ‘direct-cream ghee.’ The cows are free-grazed and pasture-raised on our certified organic farms.

Information
This product contains no additives, artificial preservatives, synthetic fillers, or binders. It is 100% natural and farm-made in daily batches. Best used within one year from the packaging date.

Store in an airtight glass container, away from light and temperature fluctuations, and consume within one year. The product is opened after 365 days of incubation.
