Purana Ghrita is crafted using fresh Gir cow milk. The milk is brought to a boil, then naturally cooled to room temperature, where it is inoculated with a natural starter culture and left overnight to ferment into yogurt. The yogurt is churned in the early morning hours (between 4 am and 6 am) through the traditional “Bilona” method, which involves slow, clockwise and anticlockwise churning to extract raw white butter.

Handmade in small batches, this cultured cow ghee is made using natural yogurt, not direct-cream ghee. The cows are pasture-raised and free-grazed on our certified organic farms.

Information
This product is free from additives, artificial preservatives, synthetic fillers, or binders. It is 100% natural and produced on the farm in daily batches. Best before one year from the packaging date.

Store in an airtight glass container, away from light and temperature fluctuations, and use within one year. This product is opened after 365 days of incubation.
